FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is it legal to purchase drugs overseas?

Yes. You are permitted to import a 3 month supply for personal use.

Do I need a prescription to purchase my medication?

Overseas pharmacies do not require a prescription to dispense drugs to purchasers from out of their country. Also, many of the drugs that require a prescription in the U.S. are not necessary in the country where they are being dispensed.

How long does it take to get delivery of my drugs?

Depending on what country the drugs are coming from, delivery can take anywhere from 7 days to 5 weeks. Most take about 7-21 days. Ordering from online Dr. Consultation sites (for Pain Meds)  requires a once a year face to face consultation with a doctor. Scheduling needs to be made for this to happen.
Time frame varies. The average waiting time to get an appointment is one week

How come drugs are so much cheaper overseas?

The official story is the U.S. pays for research and development of new drugs, which are very expensive. The rest of the world benefits with cheaper prices.

The truth is the pharmaceutical giants make up one of the most powerful lobbies in Washington. Donating millions and millions of dollars to political campaigns and candidates in both parties. For the most part, they buy control of the laws including those that make up prices.

Whatever the reason, the exact same drugs overseas are generally 40-80% less expensive then in the United States.
